If you found your way here, you’re probably feeling a certain kind of way.
Online therapist specializing in anxiety, insomnia, depression, worry, and BFRBs. Helping adults in Missouri, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.
There are A LOT of reasons to feel any (all?) of these feelings these days. I get it. I’ve been there. I still go there sometimes. It’s part of being human in a complicated world. We’re all imperfect, flawed, and wonderfully unique.
Life is hard. I don't know a single person who hasn't at one point felt like managing their feelings and brain is a second (third, fourth) full-time job. And while it is common to struggle, it’s also emotionally and physically exhausting, even debilitating for some of us, especially when you feel like you have to hold it together when you can’t. Well, you don’t have to. And you don’t have to manage the struggle alone.
MY PHILOSOPHY
I approach therapy as a partnership, helping people navigate relationships, habits, and parts of their identity they’re still learning to understand and manage.
I’m here to offer perspective and guidance, and to help you develop and feel confidently equipped with skills to live a content life.
I'm not going to ask you to stand in front of a mirror and tell yourself you are smart enough, good enough. I'm not going to ask you to parent your inner child. I’m going to meet you where you are and help you tap into your natural resilience. It’s in you; it’s there. You have the strength, courage, and skills necessary to overcome the obstacles that get in the way of enjoying a fulfilling life.
FIT CHECK
Therapy is a relationship, so the fit, the vibe, the banter, need to be right for you.
Not sure? Let’s find out.
Do any of these sound like you?
I live anywhere in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, or Missouri.
I am 18+ and totally open and excited about online therapy.
I am experiencing anxiety, insomnia, depression, or worry that is getting in the way of living my best life.
I’m having difficulty falling and/or staying asleep, leading to fatigue, mood changes, and concentration problems.
I’m managing (or not) body-focused repetitive behaviors like hair-pulling (trichotillomania) and skin-picking (dermatillomania).
I need help with a specific life change, such as relationship and marriage transitions, parenting shifts (empty nest, caregiving to parents), mid- and quarter-life crises, or leaving college to enter the workforce.
Expecting nothing and still let down.
I’m whoever I’m trying to impress at any given moment. I am my own worst enemy.
I’m a woman navigating the under-understood and often dismissed physical and emotional realities of Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), perimenopause, and menopause.
I’m a creative-type who’s stuck because of overthinking.
Worrying about everything and doing very little or nothing.
I think I’ll feel better once I do it, but can’t do it until I feel better. On repeat.
I’m tired of living a superhuman life, where people see me as a high-functioning success while I feel exhausted and on-the-brink inside.
Angry because of scenerios I created in my head; I confuse feelings for facts.
I’m a blue dot living in a red or purple community.
I love pets, plants, and music.
Sarcasm, sassiness, and a sense of humor are my personality. Swearing is welcome and encouraged here!
